One of the biggest trends for Halloween is that Halloween just keeps getting bigger, and that means means even adults go to great lengths to get the perfect look. NY1's Stephanie Simon filed the following report.

All year round "Rouge" pretties people up for special occasions. It's the kind of professional makeup application Stephanie March got on a regular basis when she starred on Law and Order: SVU. So she and one of her favorite makeup artists founded Rouge about a year ago to give everyone that opportunity.

"Rouge is New York’s first makeup salon. We like to do for faces what the blow dry bars have been doing for hair for a number of years. We’re located in Soho, we have some great artists," says March.

But for Halloween, Rouge is going more ghoulish than glamorous - creating looks from scary to completely sci-fi.

"Each appointment on Halloween or for a Halloween party or look is booked for an hour. That’s all it takes. It’s an hour. It’s 90 bucks, it lasts all day long and we are so proud of the fact that we have some artists that can really bust out whatever you want. And feel free to bring in your own prosthetics or weird things that we would be happy to attach," suggests March.

You can come with your own idea or be inspired.

"We have a couple of things on our website, Maleficent, a fawn, a bleeding heart, spooky skeletons," says March.

But hurry because before you know it, Halloween will be over.
