Dozens of students involved in the Stuyvesant High School cheating scandal are getting a chance at a do-over.

The Department of Education said 70 students at the prestigious public school will be allowed to retake the Spanish Regents test.

That includes the student who was caught taking pictures of the test and then texting it to others. A final disciplinary charge against him is being determined.

Another student, caught passing notes during a physics Regents exam, will also get a chance at a do-over.

The exams can be taken in either August or January. There are no plans for increased security.

The students who were caught will lose a number of privileges for next year, including being barred from sports teams and leaving the campus for lunch. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
