One man is in custody and police are looking for a second suspect in a string of bank robberies that took place Thursday in Manhattan.

Maverick Madore, 20, of New Hampshire has been charged in one of the five robberies with more charges likely to come.

Police suspect him in robberies at all of these locations, including two banks on the same block, working his way downtown over a span of about two and a half hours.

He was later captured outside the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel on 33rd Street.

He ran after the car he was in ended up on the sidewalk.

Police say the car belonged to Frank Mione, investigators are still looking for him.
