Hip-hop is taking center stage in Harlem this weekend, as the Apollo Theater hosts the American premiere of the Breakin' Convention.
Dancers from the United States and around the world are showing off some of their best moves.
The festival is based in London.
"It's the first time we've done it outside of the UK, and it's such an honor to be coming here to the Apollo, which is a stone's throw away from the cradle of hip-hop culture," said artistic director Jonzi D.
"It feels really historic and Jonzi brings such a great energy to the venue and to everybody, so I feel really grateful and I know that all the dancers here and all the performers here feel the same way," said dancer Ephrat Asherie.
The convention ends Sunday night.
