PATH train service between 33rd Street and two New Jersey stations is suspended this morning after an electrical fire broke out in a tunnel yesterday.

The Port Authority says PATH trains are suspended from Journal Square and Hoboken to 33rd Street.

Trains are running normally from Newark and Hoboken to World Trade Center.

New Jersey Transit is cross-honoring PATH tickets as well.

Amateur video shows the smoke caused by the fire that broke out Sunday around 4:30 p.m. in Chelsea.

The 23rd Street station was evacuated because of the fire.

No injuries were reported.

A Port Authority spokesman says the agency expects the affected stations to reopen sometime today.

For more information go online to the agency's website at panynj.gov/path.
