State Democratic leaders are reportedly fed up with Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada Junior and are looking to boot him from the party.

According to the New York Post, a top state party official has drafted a letter to Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, the Bronx Democratic chairman.

The letter is a formal request to begin the process of kicking Espada Jr. out.

The Post says the letter has been approved by the party's executive director and a political aide for Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo.

The letter reportedly lists the the party's grievances with Espada's behavior.

It says his views are out of step with the Democratic party and accuses him of being a Democrat solely for personal gain.

It also accuses him of violating campaign finance rules and residency requirements.

Cuomo has accused Espada Jr. in a civil lawsuit of looting millions from his Bronx health clinic.

Espada Jr. has denied the charges.
