More than 5,000 pounds of chorizo is being recalled because of an undeclared allergen.

Euro Foods says soy protein was not listed on the label of their seven ounce packages of sausage.

The product was sold in nine states, including New York.

It has the establishment number EST 40-10.

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service believes a change in spice mix ingredients may have caused the mislabeling.
