FDA Issues Safety Warning On Spinning Toothbrushes

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning regarding an electric toothbrush.
Officials say people using the battery-powered Arm & Hammer Spinbrush reported pieces breaking off and flying into their mouths, resulting in broken teeth, cuts to the mouth and gums and in some cases, choking.
The nine models listed in the advisory include:
• Spinbrush ProClean
• Spinbrush ProClean Recharge
• Spinbrush Pro Whitening
• Spinbrush SONIC
• Spinbrush SONIC Recharge
• Spinbrush Swirl
• Spinbrush Classic Clean
• Spinbrush For Kids
• Spinbrush Replacement Heads
