Just in time for spring, more products are hitting the shelves that can help New Yorkers primp and help their health at the same time. NY1's Kafi Drexel filed the following report.

Lucky Magazine Senior Editor Jessica Matlin recently showed NY1 some beauty products for spring that can help give many that healthy buzz they've been looking for. She opened up their beauty closet to check out cosmetic and drugstore picks she says pack multiple purposes and benefits into one product.

Blending health and beauty into a single dose can start with the kisser. To clear up those chapped winter lips, one Lucky choice is "Sugar Lip Treatment" from Fresh.

"It has SPF 15 which we should all be wearing 365 days a year especially right now," says Matlin. "It gives your lips a gorgeous tint and it doesn't look heavy. It also is infused with antioxidants. It's 22.50 at Sephora. But it is your lip color. It is also your chapstick because it has this SPF15 and comforts your lips and it is also anti-aging treatment.

Worried about gorgeous smile and fresh breath? No problem.

"Covergirl Wetslicks Amazmint lip-gloss. They've partnered with Crest and there is actually Crest peppermint oil in the lip-gloss," says Matlin. "And what this does is not only give your lips a beautiful shine, but a great minty fresh finish. The colors are fantastic and it was created in mind to make your teeth look whiter. So it really is a $6 smile makeover."

If you're looking for a sheer, light-weight foundation another Lucky pick is Josie Maran Organic Argan Oil Moisturizer: A pricier item at $48 bucks but another all-in-one product.

"Argan oil is easily the biggest story in skin care right now. It is this really light-weight oil that is packed with vitamin E and lots of antioxidants," says Matlin. "What I love about the Josie Maran oil is you can use it to treat your hair, skin, cuticles, over all your body. I use it as a primer for my makeup. I also use it as a moisturizer."
