U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara is seen in political circles as a rising star, and possibly a candidate to replace outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder. At a Crains New York Business forum Tuesday morning co-moderated by NY1 political anchor Errol Louis, Bharara dodged a question about his interest in the job.

Rick Perry Campaigns for Astorino as Congressman Calls out Christie, Cuomo

Texas Governor Rick Perry Tuesday hit the stump for Republican candidate for Governor, Rob Astorino. His visit comes weeks after New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, the head of the Republican Governors Association, refused to offer Astorino help. Christie and Governor Cuomo have also been meeting publicly on the subject of homeland security but they apparently never consulted a prominent member of the House's Homeland Security Committee, Congressman Peter King of Long Island, who spoke out exclusively to NY1's Zack Fink.
