NY1 VIDEO: Legendary New York sportscaster Marv Albert got into hot water in 1997 when he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Virginia hotel room earlier that year. As we take a look back on 20 years of NY1, we revisit Annika Pergament's report from May 27, 1997.
NY1 FOLLOW-UP: At the trial, Albert pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and battery charges, but the more serious sodomy charged was dropped. Albert was given a 12-month suspended sentence, which was dropped a year later.
