Overtime has not been friendly to the New York Rangers so far in this playoff series.
The Senators' Kyle Turris scored 2:42 into overtime to give Ottawa a 3-2 victory over the Blueshirts Wednesday night at Scotiabank Place, tying the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series at two games apiece.
Anton Stralman and Ryan Callahan scored power-play goals early in the first period for the Rangers, but the Senators fought back to tie the game on second-period goals from Milan Michalek and Sergei Gonchar, setting up Ottawa's overtime win.
It's the second time Ottawa has tied the series with an overtime victory, following Chris Neil's overtime game-winner in Game 2 that knotted the series at 1-1.
Game 5 will be Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.
