Tyson Chandler has became the first New York Knick to ever win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award.
He beat out Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka and three-time defending champion Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic.
In his first season in New York, the seven-foot center helped turn the Knicks from one of the league's worst into a solid defensive team.
The Knicks and Heat play game three of their series Thursday night at the Garden.
Miami leads the series 2-1.
