St. John's suffered a crushing extra-inning loss in Game 1 of the NCAA Baseball Tournament Super Regionals.

The Red Storm took a 6-5 lead in the top of the 10th inning on an RBI double by Sean O'Hare.

But Arizona rallied for two runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the first game of the best-of-three series 7-6.

Game 2 is Saturday at 3 p.m.

If necessary, Game 3 would be Sunday.

If St. John's wins the next two games, they will advance to the College World Series for the first time since 1980.
