City kids who lost relatives to gun violence got to spend a day with the Super Bowl champion Giants on Wednesday.
About 150 children and their family members made their way to Giants training camp in Albany for the first-ever "I'm a Giant" Day.
Children and parents alike were thrilled by the chance to meet their football heroes.
"My favorite part was when we met the Giants and we got autographs and we got tiny footballs," said a participating child.
"I guess the best part of the experience is is experiencing it with my son, you know. We met Justin Tuck, he got an autograph from Justin Tuck, an autographed football. We saw Eli [Manning]," said Giants fan Greg Francis.
The event was organized by the Brooklyn-based "Lay the Guns Down Campaign" to reward the children for leading the fight against gun violence in their communities.
