NYPD, FDNY Members Among 15 Injured In Takeout Fire

More than a dozen of New York's bravest and finest were treated for minor injuries Tuesday after a fire broke out at a Chinese takeout in Hamilton Heights.
It happened around 1 o'clock at the New Home Sing Restaurant on Broadway.
Fire officials say 15 people, including nine police officers and five firefighters were treated for smoke inhalation.
The owner says they were frying chicken wings when the flames broke out, destroying the inside of the restaurant.
Witnesses say it appears the officers and firefighters were having lunch there at the time.
No one was seriously injured.
