The Port Authority is turning to so-called "social media" to make the rebuilding process more accessible to the public.

The Authority is linking from its own website to YouTube and Flickr.

Slide shows and video will detail the rise of One World Trade Center, which now reaches the fifth floor construction level.

The Port Authority says the World Trade Center rebuilding effort has a global following, and the multimedia feeds will help people keep an eye on what's happening.
