Manhattan's landmark restaurant Tavern on the Green donated its last shipment of food Wednesday to city shelters and soup kitchens.
The upscale Central Park mainstay permanently closed New Years Eve after filing for bankruptcy.
The restaurant packed up a little over 2,000 pounds of fresh and dry food for City Harvest.
"It's a sad day for all New Yorkers, we all love Tavern on the Green but we really appreciate the food donation. It's very nice," said Shannon Barbuto of City Harvest.
City Harvest says the food will reach hungry New Yorkers as soon as possible.
Over the years, Tavern on the Green has donated more than 50,000 pounds of food.
