A Manhattan high school student was hospitalized Tuesday after being stabbed while at school.
Officials say the stabbing at University Neighborhood High School on the Lower East Side occurred just after 11:15 a.m.
The 18-year-old male was taken to Bellevue Hospital to be treated for his injuries. He is listed in stable condition at this time.
School officials say security controlled the situation and classes continued throughout the day.
It's not known if the school was locked down or if the suspect is a student there.
No arrests have been made.
