Less than two weeks after a company promised to remove a controversial Times Square billboard featuring the president, the ad still remains.

NY1 has also spotted it in a new location, seen above, right outside the Midtown Tunnel at Long Island City.

The giant billboard features the president wearing a Weatherproof jacket, with the tagline "A Leader In Style."

The company promised it would stop running the ad campaign upon a request from White House officials, who cited a long-standing policy against using Obama's name and likeness for commercial purposes.

The ad was first noticed in Times Square at the beginning of this month.

Weatherproof said it had purchased the rights to the photo and did not think it needed to get approval for it.

NY1 reached out to the company today and so far has heard no comment. White House officials have also not commented today on the billboards.
