The storm has caused the Taxi and Limousine Commission to postpone the launch of its taxi sharing program.
It was set to begin tomorrow.
The program will now debut Wednesday morning.
Up to four people will be able to split a ride to Park Avenue in Midtown – leaving from three designated pickup points in Manhattan between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Passengers will pay three to four dollars each for the ride – saving about half of the regular fare.
