Dozens came out to East Harlem Saturday as the New York City Parks Department held their third annual Street Games.
While professionals showed off their skills on pogo sticks and roller skates, kids had a chance to try them too.
They also played stick ball and learned games their parents played growing up.
"It's something nice to expose the kids to, to bring back some of the old school games so to speak, and just to expose them to that," said one New Yorker.
Pearl the Squirrel, the parks department's new mascot, made her debut at the Street Games.
