Deliberations resumed Wednesday in the case of a former New York City Police officer accused of knocking a cyclist to the ground during a Times Square protest.
An alternate juror had to be called this morning to take over for a member of the panel who is sick.
The jury first received the case Tuesday morning.
Former police officer Patrick Pogan is charged with seven counts, including assault and falsifying an arrest record.
He was captured on video knocking biker Christopher Long to the ground during a July 2008 Critical Mass protest ride.
Each side claims the other instigated the incident.
Pogan faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
