Paul Simon's "The Capeman" is set to fly again this weekend.
The Public Theater will present a concert version of the musical for free at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park.
Originally on Broadway in 1998, the musical is based on the true story of a street gang member in the 1950s.
The show's director, Diane Paulus, says she's excited to bring the play to life more than a decade later.
"There's something about being here in Central Park, bringing this material back to life 12 years since it was on Broadway, doing it for free in Central Park, giving this music, Paul Simon's incredible score another chance to live here, that to me is what is so magical about what we're doing," Paulus said.
Diane Paulus is the sister of NY1's General Manager, Steve Paulus.
The show runs from August 14th to the 16th only.
