The battle over labor at next month's Fashion Week events appears to be headed for court.
The biannual event is moving from Bryant Park to Lincoln Center for the next five years.
Local One, which provides labor for most events at Lincoln Center, says it does not have an agreement to cover events where the Fashion Week tents will be pitched -- both in the plaza and Damrosch Park.
Union officials say they should provide the labor for Fashion Week since they handle events like Midsummer Night Swing.
Now, sources tell NY1 the union has instructed its lawyers to file suit to assure that any potential picket lines would be close to the actual fashion shows and not down the block or around the corner.
Lincoln Center and IMG Fashion, which produces the event, are trying to resolve the matter.
Fashion Week kicks off September 9.
