More than a hundred cyclists arrived in the city yesterday after a three-day ride from Boston.

The 285-mile ride was part of "Brake the Cycle," which raises money for the HIV/AIDS services of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center.

"It’s vitally important, especially with funding as tough as it is now we need that money to help serve our community," said LGBT Community Center Director Glennda Testone.

“Some of this money will help provide resources as far as classes go to not just help people who are sick but help people not get sick. A lot of it is about education,” said country singer Chely Wright.

The ride raised $318,000.
