As the medical examiner ruled the death of a woman found in a suitcase in East Harlem a homicide, police released surveillance video to help with the case Wednesday.

Police wanted to talk to a person seen above, shown in the surveillance video pulling the suitcase.

The medical examiner said the woman died from asphyxiation.

Investigators said a passerby discovered the body Wednesday morning after seeing a black suitcase with a leg sticking out on East 114th Street, outside the famed Rao's Restaurant.

The victim is described as between 25- to 35-years-old, and late Wednesday police were working on identifying her.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
