A black New York City Fire Department employee who says he found a noose in his locker appears before the National Action Network.

Electrician Gregory Seabrook and his attorney presented their case before the Harlem group.

Seabrook said he discovered the noose when he arrived at an FDNY office in Red Hook, Brooklyn last week.

He also said the incident happened days after he filed a discrimination complaint against the FDNY.

Seabrook initially filed the complaint because he had been with the department for 20 years, but never received a promotion, even though he received positive evaluations, according to his attorney.

Four other minority electricians also filed complaints against the department.

The FDNY says it is investigating the noose incident.
