Two people were taken to the hospital Monday after a car crash caused a propane tank to explode in TriBeCa on Monday.

Officials say a food truck collided with another vehicle near the intersection of West Street and North Moore.

The tanks ignited, engulfing the truck in flames.

"A food truck is the last thing you want to see on fire," said witness Ari Thaler. "You have a lot of propane, you have a lot of gasoline on the trucks. And if you get in any smallest accidents, it can be deadly."

The two drivers suffered minor injuries.
