Police have arrested the man wanted for allegedly stabbing his 82-year-old aunt.

Larry Brown, 57, seen above, was taken into custody at around 9:30 a.m. after being spotted in Harlem.

"A woman came in to the 32nd Precinct, told a switchboard operator that she saw him on the street at 137th Street and Lenox Avenue, I believe. Sent a radio car to the location, he was found a short distance away. He stated that he was going to turn himself in today," said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

Police say Brown tied his aunt and stabbed her in the head and arm and also tied up and gagged her husband, Boatman Garris, following an argument over money.

The elderly couple was taken to the hospital after the attack.

Investigators say Brown took off with some cash.
