Opening statements are over and testimony has begun in the retrial of a man accused in a deadly fight over a parking spot in the East Village.
Oscar Fuller is being retried on assault charges, after his first case ended in a mistrial.
Authorities say he punched Lana Rosas in March 2011 during a dispute over a parking spot.
Prosecutors say Rosas fell, struck her head and died of a brain injury.
Fuller's attorney claims self-defense.
The defendant faces up to seven years in prison.
