A father was indicted for a second time Friday in connection with a June 2011 fight that killed his son.

Andre Muller pled not guilty to second-degree assault with a deadly weapon in a Bronx courtroom.

A judge threw out an earlier indictment last month, arguing the original grand jury was not properly instructed on the case.

Prosecutors claim Muller got into a fight with two parking lot attendants over missing cologne.

Muller's lawyer, Lawrence Fredella, claims his client was acting in self-defense and that Muller's son Isayah was stabbed to death while trying to help his father.

"He's not happy to be indicted in the case where he was the only person arrested in this melee where his son was brutally murdered," Fredella said. "His son was viciously stabbed."

Muller's 19-year-old son graduated from Truman High School on the day of the fight.
