A Queens woman was killed early Thursday morning in Manhattan after being struck by a dump truck that never stopped.

Police say Roxanna Sorina-Buta, 21, was hit as she crossed Broadway near 14th Street in Union Square around 1:30 a.m.

She was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center, where she died.

"I saw a girl walking that way, and the car, the truck hit her and she was just on the ground. He stopped at the next light, he didn't know, I think he didn't know," said one witness.

Police are now searching for the driver of a blue dump truck.

Anyone with information about the case is being asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS, by texting TIP577 to CRIMES, or by going to NYPDCrimeStoppers.com.
