Authorities are looking for two men they said posed as police officers during a robbery in Manhattan.
Officials said a man and an accomplice pretended to be members of the NYPD when they stopped a man near the Port Authority Bus Terminal and asked him for ID on June 3.
The victim said his ID was in his hotel room.
Authorities said all three men traveled to the location and while in the room, the suspects demanded cash and made comments about having to check the money out at the precinct.
Police said all three men then climbed into a yellow taxi for the trip and at some point the suspects jumped out and fled.
Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
