More than a million people are expected to line the sidewalks for the 86th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday.
The big stars, of course, are the giant balloons, which were inflated Wednesday.
New additions this year include Papa Smurf and Elf on a Shelf, and a new version of Hello Kitty.
The balloons will hover above hundreds of dancers, cheerleaders and singers, along with floats and marching bands.
Five thousand residents affected by Hurricane Sandy are getting prime seats in the bleachers.
The parade begins at 9 a.m., starting at 77th Street and Central Park West.
It heads south to Columbus Circle and cuts over to Sixth Avenue before heading west on 34th Street to wrap up at Macy's Herald Square.
