Police say they are conducting interviews in connection with Monday afternoon's deadly shooting near Columbus Circle, but wouldn't confirm if they are speaking to a person of interest.

Investigators also said they found the getaway car linked to Monday's deadly shooting near Columbus Circle.

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said the car was found in Queens, but would not elaborate further.

He said authorities are also looking at Brandon Woodard's cell phone, which he was using just before he was killed.

"On the film he appears to be looking at his phone, obviously we're interested in what information was on the phone at that time," Kelly said.

Surveillance footage shows Woodard before he was shot in the head just before 2 p.m. Monday on 58th Street near Seventh Avenue.

The shooter was seen getting out of a Lincoln MKZ and later driven away in the same car.

Investigators do not think Woodard knew the man.

Ballistics tests show the same .9 millimeter semi-automatic was used in an unsolved shooting in Queens back in 2009.
