Hundreds of families attended a Saturday holiday party at Chelsea Piers organized by The New Alternatives for Children, a local welfare agency that deals exclusively with children with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
Activities included a holiday lunch and distribution by Santa Claus of corporate-donated presents.
The corporations that donated presents included K.I.D.S., Cravath, Swaine and Moore, Skadden Arps Meagher and Flom, Bertelsman Inc., the Estée Lauder Companies, Ralph Lauren, New York Cares, CBS and Disney.
