Lower East Side residents may soon be soaring high into the sky if a trapeze project gets off the ground.
The city is seeking proposals for a seasonal trapeze operation at Hamilton Fish Park.
It would operate over the swimming pools from mid-September to mid-May when they are dry and empty.
The city hopes the project will not cost taxpayers any money, as all equipment, instruction and insurance is expected to be picked up by the winning vendor.
The trapeze could be up and running by the fall of 2013.
