Man Robs Check Cashing Store With Flammable Liquid

Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a check-cashing store in Harlem.

Investigators say the man walked into a Pay-O-Matic at 136th Street and Broadway just before 2 a.m. Monday.

He allegedly threw a cup of flammable liquid under the cashier's window and threatened to set it on fire with a lighter.

The cashier handed over a bag with several thousand dollars in it and the man ran off.
The suspect is described as being 5 foot 9 inches, 150 pounds and in his forties
