A West Village children's theater reopened Sunday for the first time since Hurricane Sandy.
The Early Childhood Puppet Theatre was forced to cancel its remaining 2012 shows when the storm sent nine feet of water into the basement, knocking out heat, water and electricity.
Now the Penny Jones and Company Puppets has resumed shows with "The Circus and Sebastian," to the delight of parents and children.
While the theater is open once more, Jones says it does need help with Sandy-related costs. To donate or find ticket and show information, visit pennypuppets.org.
