A Manhattan man was indicted on murder charges Tuesday for allegedly setting a deadly fire in SoHo.
Wei Chu Hu was also charged with arson and assault.
Investigators allege that the 45-year-old intentionally set fire to his apartment building on Spring Street on January 10.
They say he also assaulted a police officer, who tried to arrest him.
Witnesses say Wu set the fire after getting into a fight with his wife.
She and their child made it out alive, but a neighbor, 66-year-old Renee Williams, was killed.
