One of the key players behind the High Line is leaving his post.
Robert Hammond, the executive director of Friends of the High Line, says he will step down at the end of the year.
Hammond co-founded the non-profit organization in 1999, with a vision of creating a park out of the abandoned railway above Chelsea.
The High Line is now a major tourist attraction, with millions of visitors and a final section set to open next year.
