Police are looking for a robber they say posed as a police officer in Midtown last month.

Officials released surveillance video from the 33rd Street subway station of the suspect, seen above.

Investigators say on January 13 at 8 p.m., the suspect flashed a badge and asked his victim to show ID and hand over a cellphone.

The suspect then fled the station.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
