B'Way Tops List Of City's Deadliest Stretches, Report Finds

Broadway has landed at the top of a list of dangerous roadways.
A new report from the Tri-State Transportation Campaign ranks Broadway as the street where the most pedestrian fatalities occurred.
There were 12 fatalities between 2009 and 2011.
All but one of the fatalities on the 13-mile long road occurred above 96th Street with a large concentration of them happening near the George Washington Bridge.
Amsterdam Avenue recorded seven pedestrian deaths over the same period.
There were also seven deaths on the four mile long Woodhaven Boulevard in Queens.
Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn had six pedestrian deaths.
In the Bronx, Gun Hill Road, which is only three and a half miles long had five pedestrian deaths over the same three year period.
