Convicted Criminal Is Person Of Interest In Deadly Brooklyn Hit-And-Run

Police identified Monday a person of interest in the fatal weekend crash that killed an orthodox Jewish couple and their newborn son.
Authorities say Julio Acevedo, 44, was driving a BMW at 60 mph when he slammed into a livery cab that was taking Raizy and Nachman Glauber to the hospital.

The wife, who was seven months pregnant, was complaining of labor pains.
After the crash, the Glaubers' baby was delivered prematurely via C-section, then died Monday morning and was reportedly buried later in the day.
The cab driver was injured but survived.
Authorities said Acevedo was imprisoned in Queensboro Correctional Facility from 1989 to 1999 for first-degree manslaughter, robbery and drug possession.
They also said he was arrested for drunk driving in February.
Police previously arrested the BMW's owner, Bronx resident Takia Walker, 29, and charged her with insurance fraud.
Authorities did not believe Walker was in the vehicle when the crash occurred.
By Monday night, Acevedo was not in police custody and police were offering $20,000 for information leading to his arrest.
