Former Knicks star Charles Oakley rejects a conditional dismissal and decides to go to trial.

In February, the 54-year-old was forcibly removed from a Knicks game after shoving several security guards who tried to escort him out.

He was arraigned on charges including assault, harassment and criminal trespass.

Oakley has strongly denied any wrongdoing.

The conditional dismissal would have left him with a clean record after six months of good behavior.

The former power forward has a long-running feud with Knicks owner James Dolan, who says Oakley was acting hostile prior to the incident.

Oakley says he won't come back to Madison Square Garden until the team apologizes to him and the fans.

The trial is set to begin August 4.
