Spring is officially here, but it sure doesn’t feel like it. A nor’easter will bring heavy snow and gusty winds to the five boroughs today. Expect temperatures in the low 30s throughout the day. The heaviest snow is expected to fall in the afternoon and evening hours. There's also a good chance that we get one to two inches of snow per hour at times. However, flakes are slated to be a bit more dense, rather than light and fluffy. The change in sun's angle could also play a role in how much the snow will stick. Four to eight inches is possinle with isolated areas getting higher accumulations.

Snow is expected to taper off late tonight with lows below freezing. It will be a cloudy start with a few possible flurries early tomorrow morning. Highs are expected to reach 43 degrees in the afternoon. Then temperatures are expected to become more seasonable next week.
