There’s going to be a new Wise Guy at New York 1.

Former Governor Eliot Spitzer will be joining former Mayor Ed Koch and former Senator Alfonse D'Amato every Tuesday, starting next week on “Inside City Hall.”

"I am delighted to be joining two of New York's sharpest political minds to discuss the important issues of the day," Spitzer told NY1.

Koch and D'Amato both reacted to the news on Tuesday's edition of "Inside City Hall."

"He will have marvelous insights and an enormous store of knowledge, so we'll be on our toes, right?" Koch said.

"Oh, I'm looking forward to our jousting," D'Amato said.

Governor Spitzer's first official day is Tuesday, July 10 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
