Some streets in Manhattan will not belong to cars this Saturday.
Summer Streets 2012 kicks off for the first of three consecutive Saturdays.
Nearly seven miles of roads will be closed to cars from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m., allowing runners and cyclists to hit the pavement.
Along the way people can enjoy features including a rock climbing wall and a 160 foot-long zip line.
The route runs from the Brooklyn Bridge north to Central Park and mostly along Lafayette Street and Park Avenue.
